A retired couple desired a modern, courtyard garden with areas to shelter from the midday sun and lots of raised beds for hassle free maintenance of the plants and flowers. This was an ambitious project where inspiration for the garden design was taken from a variety of sources.
The copper slate paving, white rendering and exposed areas of slate walling often seen in the West Country complimented the Mediterranean style benches and planting. The oak pergola, stone barbeque and thatched, circular, stone and oak bench finished off a stunning entertaining area for friends and family.
